Tags: Moon -Dovestar- Sunny -since I`m sure you`re itching to RP- and to anyone else in DappleClan. OOC: Also to the future deputy, medicine cat and one or two warriors in SunClan. Please note that my cat has come to DappleClan territory without any cat knowing. A silver cat's emerald eyes glowed defiantly. Her moves were heavy with anticipation, yet light and silent, padding quietly out SunClan territory, into DappleClan territory. This cat refused both the company of the deputy, the medicine cat, and some warriors when she announced that she planned to take a stroll to 'empty her mind'. They should have known better. She never 'emptied her mind'. The silver she-cat strained it so that her clan would be able to thrive. However, it also zapped all of her already small amount of energy, which was most likely why they believed her story. However, this walk was sort of relaxing for her. Unfortunately, the realization of her mission made it less easing. She frowned at the rustling of grass. The leaf green eyes darted around, watching her surroundings carefully, ears pricked and eyes alert. The SunClan she-cat could detect a cat's figure. Her fur rose, despite the attempts to keep it submissive. Muscles tensed, ready to fight whatever came at her. This she-cat took no chances at anything.

Lightbird was stealthily stalking a chipmunk nibbling at a nut at the foot of an oak tree. Just as she was bunching her muscles to pounce, a rustling sound alerted her prey. The chipmunk raced up the tree and hid in a little hollow near the top.
The grey-and-white she-cat lashed her tail in frustration. I was going to get that! she growled to herself. Suddenly it dawned on her that she had no idea what had caused the rustling sound. Lightbird whipped around, baring her teeth in a snarl.
"Who are you? What do you want? Why are you on DappleClan territory?" she growled threateningly, sliding out her claws and narrowing her eyes to slits. Her shoulder fur bristled with tension, and red mist clouded the edge of her gaze. Lightbird opened her small mouth, breathing in the air. It definitely wasn't DappleClan scent. I'll rip your pelt off, whoever you are.
The grey-smudged warrior stepped forward a few paces, raking her claws over the ground with each step. The dirt that she clawed up with her forepaws covered her hind legs in dirt, but she didn't bother to shake it off. She only cared about defending her territory. Her anger and her threatening personality spiraled into ambition to protect her Clan.

"Who are you? What do you want? Why are you on DappleClan territory?"
Her green eyes narrowed, thinking how unruly this cat was. Dovestar may have had skilled warriors but they certainly weren't very polite! What did she teach them these days! "How did such a young cat like Dovestar become leader?" She thought. Inspecting the cat further, the older silver she-cat decided this surprise was only a young warrior. Well, a very aggressive warrior anyhow. The she-cat found it surprising that this grey and white warrior did not recognize her. Well, yes she kept a low profile, even at gatherings, but still!
Knowing that she would never have a break from fellow clans and their members, the silver cat decided to skip the 'Who are you' question and get on with the rest. The she-cat refused to give away her name, also afraid that her clanmates would never allow her out of her own territory ever again. Groaning inwardly at the thought of this, she shook her head, trying to push away her thoughts and actually answer the questions which she was willing to answer. "I'm here to see Dovestar. You don't need anything more to know," She mewed curtly.

As the silver cat padded closer, Lightbird realized that she was a SunClan cat. Her hackles rose, seeing that this enemy had a larger build and much more muscle than she did. But she wasn't daunted. I must stay strong for my Clan. She snarled angrily, her teeth still showing beneath her curled lips. "If you want to see her, tell me why," she hissed. "If I'm not allowed to know, then you're not allowed to see Dovestar."
The grey-and-white she-cat stepped forward once more, until her muzzle was no more than a cat-length from the SunClan cat's. If she won't give answers, I won't give mercy. Lightbird glared a challenge at the she-warrior, lifting a paw so that her claws glinted threateningly in the moonlight.

"If you want to see her, tell me why," she hissed. "If I'm not allowed to know, then you're not allowed to see Dovestar."
The silver cat watched the other she-cat with green razor eyes. She showed no fear, rather, anger and annoyance. Really, the SunClan she-cat was on the verge of killing this she-cat who seemed to be acting as an obstacle but she calmed herself, focusing upon the warrior code. No, she refused to turn her back upon it. The silver dappled she-cat was determined stay a steady example of how cats should follow the warrior code- if they ever did these days. She thought angrily about how the younger generations of today were straying from the warrior code. A small growl rose in her throat as she thought about this. Quickly plummeting the growl down her throat, the intruder mewed, "Why I want to see Dovestar does not concerns you not your clanmates- except Dovestar. You have no need to see my reasonings. And if you had much sense, you'd realize you, a young warrior, would be nothing compared to an older, more experienced warrior like me. However, if you really would like to fight, come at me,"
In a relaxed position, the experienced she-cat lifted her head haughtily, meeting eye to eye with the stranger. A strange sense of superiority entered her eyes. With a toss of her head she had already resumed her battle position. Crouching lowly, ready to spring at the grey and white she-cat.
In the shadows, slithering like a snake, a fierce small creature lurked. She found this the perfect opportunity to blackmail her sister. With a smirk, the diluted calico waited patiently for her sister to gasp out in pain in this other cat's grip. Mottledshadow recognized the experience in this cat, even if her fool of a cat sister couldn't.

OOC: The silver cat is an Experienced Warrior, right? I can't know because the silver cat isn't actually legal on this site.... But we'll let it pass! IC: Lightbird snarled. The smell of DappleClan freshened, and the presence of another cat vaguely entered her mind. But all she cared about was defending her territory. She reared up on her hind legs, lashing her tail to keep her balance. She slashed out with her claws unsheathed. The grey-and-white she-warrior found herself wishing she had sharpened her claws before she attacked.
"If you want a fight, you'll get one!" Lightbird hissed, forcing herself not to think about her burning muscles in her hind legs. Her shadowed leaf-green eyes flashed viciously.

OOC: The silver she cat is Ashstar.
Ashstar shrugged off the pain which still stung at her face. Ashstar had been through so many battles, things like pain became more easy to shrug off as time went by. Remembering what she had learned over time, the silver cat with the grey flecks backed away quickly before attempting to bringing her sheathed paw down upon her enemy with a strong force, eyes blazing furiously, a growl letting out. "Oh so you think I go around starting up fights? Well guess what! I don't! Unlike that young dear Dovestar's warriors of course!" Ashstar retorted.

OOC: Oh, really? I had no idea! Lightbird should have known who she was. Just pretend she knew. And by the way.... You didn't add the 'Costs' and 'Deals' to your battle system move. You should include the move that Ashstar used like I did. Example of Roleplay Battle.
IC: Lightbird hissed in fury at Ashstar. "I don't think you go around to start up fights. I think you go around to provoke fights, such as trespassing on another Clan's territory! And don't think I'll thank you for calling me 'dear'!" The grey-and-white she-warrior leaned down like she was doing a push-up. She put all her weight in her forequarters and kicked out with her back legs at the SunClan leader.
"No cat gets close to DappleClan territory, have it be an apprentice, a warrior, or a leader!" Lightbird snarled furiously. Lightbird used Back Kick on Ashstar. Deals: 19 Costs: 15

Gorsefern was chasing a rabbit down the slope towards the DappleClan border when he heard the screeches of pain and the yowls of fury. 'Those are the sounds of a fight,' he thought to himself, trying desperately to pinpoint where the battle was coming from.
Forgetting about the rabbit, the orange tabby pelted towards the sounds, keeping low to the tall grass of SunClan territory. The closer he got, the louder the sounds became. Soon he came to the DappleClan border. Unease prickled through his pelt. 'I have to do this. DappleClan don't fight each other, so they must be fighting another Clan cat. Is that cat from SunClan? Or another Clan?' Gorsefern found himself hoping that the cat wasn't from SunClan, because then he wouldn't have to get involved. 'But if it's one of my Clanmates... I have to join the fight. I vowed when I became a warrior.'
So the orange tabby crept across the border, not noticing the strong scent of Ashstar that stained the DappleClan border line. The hisses and howls were definitely louder now. 'At least they aren't as loud as a real war,' he thought grimly. He slunk forward, stopping behind a rather large oak. The disgusting DappleClan scent filled his scent glands, and he stifled a sneeze.
Gorsefern carefully but not cautiously peered around the oak trunk and gasped when he saw his leader battling with a DappleClan cat. It was completely against his personality to stay still and silent, but he knew he must to trick the DappleClan she-warrior. 'She looks stronger and more experienced than me,' he thought. 'If I'm to beat her, I need to use trickery.'
Suddenly another DappleClan scent hit his scent glands. He looked around the oak trunk again, but only saw Ashstar and the DappleClan cat fighting. 'Why do I smell a third cat?' He forced himself to shrug off the feeling. 'You're scaring yourself,' he scolded himself.

OOC: Would bringing Lightbird's HP to zero be a knockout or a kill? Tags: Moon -I`m begging Dovestar to come and intervene. Ashstar resited the force with struggle. She felt her body heating up, the blood pumping through her small body in an emdless cycle. She allowed her claws to slide out, her eyes showing signs of treacherousness. Yet, surprisingly, Ashstar did not attempt at her opponent. " Speaking softly, Ashstar mewed, "I came here to see Dovestar. You were the one to prokove me. You would not allow me to pass. I am alone! What threat am I if I only want to see Dovestar? Now, young warrior, stand by," Ashstar stared at the grey and white she-cat with intense eyes. She found herself surprised that this warrior was really trying to fight her! Focusing more to her own command, Ashstar quickly realized that, indeed, this cat was probably not going to back down. A shake of her head and Ashstar sprung into action, her body lively once more. With her unsheathed claws, she brought them across the other cat's face. Luckily (or was it on purpose?) the claws barely touched the fur so no damage was dealt. Ashstar82/120 HP 285/300 SP Lightbird22/45 HP 125/160 SP Mottledshadow sighed, shaking her head. She mocled her concern for her dear sister. The calico thought how stupidly mouse brained her sister was acting. She urged her dear sister to finish the job already! And, if she couldn't perform a killing bite, then high tail out of there! Stupid sister. Lightbird's sister could see that it was really a hopeless plus useless battle, despite havimg no sanity and Lightbird the one with the sanity (acording to Mottledshadow). Shaking her head and sighing drastically, Mottledshadow decided perhaps she should leave alreay. It seemed pointless anyhow. Mottledshadow was just about to leave whem she spotted company of one. Obviously Ashstar and Lightbird were too wound up in their own fights to notice the new cat. Mottledshadow had had enough of the shadows. This SunClan cat was a insult (as well as Lightbird) to all cats! Angry and frusterated the young warrior sprang from her hiding spot and hurdled herself towards Ashstar. Catching the leader off guard, Mottledshadow managed to successfully pin down Ashstar. Imeediatly the shady dishonest warrior went for the killing bite. Grabbing the silver cat's neck with powerful jaws, it was both crushed and shaken furiously, while the woner of the neck both yowled and pain and struggled against Motgledshaodw's powerful grip. Ashstar couldn't believe it. This, this, cat. A warrior! She, she was trying to kill. And indeed this cat was succeeding, Ashstar already felt her body growing weak against her enemy. She could feel her life ebbing away every moment, it seemed. Ashstar troed to fight against it but it seemed to be of no use. Confirming that Ashstar would be dead for at least a few moments, Mottledshadow spun around and commanded for each cat to run. Following her own command, Mottledshadow sprinted away.

OOC: It would be a knockout. Only the move Killing Bite would be a kill.
IC:
Lightbird felt frozen to the spot when her sister leaped out of the shadows. She was utterly helpless as Mottledshadow used the killing bite on Ashstar.
"Mottledshadow, you're a... you're a murderer!" Pain and shame vibrated in her gasp. Without moving, the grey-and-white she-warrior leaned over Ashstar. I'm glad leaders have nine lives, Lughtbird thought wryly, though she had a terrible feeling writhing in her stomach. Her gut felt as if it had been twisted into a knot and stabbed with the sharpest claw.
~
Gorsefern yowled in rage as the DappleClan cat lunged at his leader 's throat. "You'll pay!" he screeched, and charged after Mottledshadow with as much speed as a moon of chasing rabbits put together. [/i][/div]

OOC: Wae~ Well I came just in time..... Dovestar heard fighting break out in the woods, as clouds as fighting could be. She rolled her eyes and darted off into the forest. When she got closer, she got shocked. Did she really hear Lightbird and Mottledshadow, her own blood siblings fighting Ashstar, leader of SunClan? A different yowl was also mingled in, but Doveatar didn't know the identity of the voice. The diluted tortoiseshell stepped in to the clearing and she saw the most horrendous sight. Indeed it was Lightbird and Mottledshadow, and they were fighting Ashstar, and there was also another cat she didn't know, probably from a different clan, fighting. What frightened her the most was that Mottledshadow had just taken a life from Ashstar, the evidence was clear. "Mottledshadow! Lightbird! Stop. Right. Now," she commanded. "This is the leader of SunClan you're trying to fight here. Back off! You shouldn't attack first, remember, attacking is only used for defence if someone attacks you first! And on top of all that, THIS. IS. ASHSTAR! YOU SHOULD RESPECT HER!" Dovestar yelled. Ugh. Her siblings. She swore, they were so... Childish sometimes. Then, she turned her head towards Ashstar and bowed her head in respect. "Ashstar, are you okay?" she asked, voice laced with worry. "Come to DappleClan camp, I'm sure we have something to help you." Dovestar really respected the older leader, and she wanted to help her as much as she could. Sunny Winter Sunflower

Lightbird whipped around, desperation clawing at her. She dipped her head low at her leader and sister, then launched herself into a pleading explanation. "Dovestar, I can explain," she gasped, feeling breathless. "I smelled Ashstar before I saw her, and all I recognized was SunClan scent. So I challenged her, and when she responded, I knew who it was. I felt guilty almost immediately, but I had already begun to threaten her, and I didn't want to back down and look cowardly. So I continued to challenge her, but she wouldn't tell me why she wanted to see you. I wondered if it was a trick attack, so I fought Ashstar."
The gray-and-white she-warrior gulped in air, her mouth feeling dry from her long explanation. But she continued. "Then Mottledshadow leaped out from the bushes and took one of Ashstar's lives.... I realize now that if I hadn't attacked Ashstar in the first place, our sister wouldn't have tried to kill of her lives." Lightbird sighed, feeling slightly exhausted. But she forced her paws not to buckle, and stood tall and proud in front of Dovestar. I did nothing wrong! she told herself. I don't deserve punishment. I was just defending our territory!
But you attacked a leader! a darker voice told her. Lightbird gave Dovestar a pleading look. Dovestar, I did nothing wrong! she wanted to cry to her sister. But she knew she couldn't. Dovestar was her sister, but she was also her leader, and she had to give her respect.
Instead, Lightbird leaned over Ashstar, worried at what she would find. What does it look like when a leader loses a life? she wondered, casting Dovestar a nervous glance. What if that was her? the darker voice murmured to her.

Tags: Sunny, MoonThe old she-cat twitched irritably when se spotted a group of her warrior ancestors approaching her, looking solemn. With her piercing eyes signaling for them to speak, the leading cat spoke, the voice shivering and melancholy. Owlpaw warned her of wasting lives while Ashstar profusely protested, trying blame Lightbird and Mottledshadow. Glaring at the stubborn SubClan she-cat the brown dead tabby apprentice continued, pointing out how little lives Ashstar still possessed. "Stop looking for trouble every time you can!" Owlpaw rebuked. Ashstar grunted angrily before spinning around and padding away, unaware of the multiple eyes of a darker kind watching her. Ashstar shook awake. Her green emerald eyes fluttered open and shimmered brightly. The grey flecked leader bitterly thought about how foolish young cats were most often, mainly thinking of Owlpaw, a dear cat from Ashstar's past. Mentally, she demanded to why StarClan was always interfering with her business! Picking herself up, Ashstar resumed a more dignified posture, very much aware of the pretense of the DappleClan leader and the DappleClan warrior. Lifting her head and facing the two cats, she bitterly questioned whether or not the dastardly slithering snake, the coward of a cat, was gone. Of course, Ashstar mean't Mottledshadow.

OOC: I've taken over Dovestar because I don't think Moon is coming back
IC:
Lightbird backed up a few paces when she saw Ashstar at her full height again. Noticing that she was actually a very respectable leader, she dipped her head extremely low and muttered an apology. Her fur standing on end in embarrassment, she waited for Dovestar to start the conversation.
~
Dovestar looked sternly at Lightbird. Will my sister [you]ever[/you] learn?she thought to herself, rather annoyed and disappointed. She would talk to Lightbird later... I'm sure she has a good excuse, she thought gravely to herself. Turning to Ashstar, she dipped her head again. "I'm very, very sorry about this. Mottledshadow has broken the warrior code. She will be punished..." She looked around, but, of course, Mottledshadow had fled. Trying to distract Ashstar's attention from this slight problem, she continued, "And Lightbird... Well, she'll be taught a lesson too. Is there anything I can do for you? Our medicine cat surely has something for those... cuts." She stopped herself from saying "horribly scary gashes". "And there's plenty of room for you to stay tonight. Once you're rested we can speak in private by the Water Pool tomorrow morning." Dovestar had a feeling that Ashstar would want to speak with her right this second, but she tried to hold off on this for a little while. She really wanted to make Ashstar feel at home, of course, but she also didn't feel like speaking to a leader whose life had just been lost because of her own warrior's horrible fault. She was starting to feel a little uncomfortable now, but she tried to hide it.
~
Gorsefern bursted out from the bushes that surrounded the Water Pool. He looked around. Mottledshadow was nowhere in sight. It was getting really dark out anyway. Let her be on her own, he growled to himself. She deserves to be a rouge. Plus, he knew that someone would set out to find her in the morning anyway. He turned around, trying to shrug off the uncomfortable feeling he had... Maybe he should keep looking. No, he should turn back... Shouldn't he? Rolling his eyes at himself, he trotted back to the group. The nagging thought that he couldn't quite put his claw on was still at the back of his mind, but he ignored it. He saw his leader talking with Dovestar and another gray and white cat that he had seen a few times at Gatherings before. He sat right behind his leader, his mouth and throat craving for the water inside the Water Pool. But this was another Clan's territory, so he simply made very obviously longing glances at the pool of water, hoping that someone would ask him if he would like a drink.

Ashstar wanted to protest that they did not have time to rest. She could feel the changes occurring in the air all around her. A feeling was coming to her that it seemed none of her clan-mates felt. Perhaps it was from stress but Ashstar liked to believe otherwise. However, this wasn't exactly what she had come to Dovestar to talk about. It was of another matter which she felt the need to discuss with DappleClan's leader. Not exactly pleasant in Ashstar's opinion, for it concerned issues which were never fun to address. Borders and prey. She wanted to go alone so that no cat thought she had come with hostile intentions. Maybe she should have brought her medicine cat along but many of her clanmates were angry and upset. She did not know her medicine cat's stance so Ashstar did not bother taking the SunClan medicine cat along. Ashstar was compliant, however. She told Dovestar that she did not want anything. Only audience with her.

Lightbird guiltily noticed Dovestar's stern glance, and ducked her head even lower. Hearing her sister apologize for her was really humiliating. I can speak for myself, she thought defiantly. Trying to stop her tail from twitching in annoyance, she listened to Ashstar's response. Ugh... No leaders accept help. It's so annoying. Right now everything was annoying to Lightbird. Itching for more action, she persuaded herself not to pace back and forth.
~
Dovestar held back a grumble of frustration. She could sense her sister's annoyance as well. Yes, leaders could be very frustrating. She nodded, more to calm herself than agree with Ashstar. Setting herself up for a very deeply solemn conversation, she waved Lightbird away, as well as making a very pointed look at Gorsefern, reminding the SunClan leader that he was there, sneaking weirdly about.
~
Lightbird grumbled again. How come warriors don't get to participate in things... Can't I just be Dovestar's guard? She turned grumpily around, and padded away.
~
Gorsefern noticed Dovestar's pointed look, and rolled his eyes. There was a lot of tension and annoyance in the air. No wonder... he thought sarcastically to himself, waiting for stupid Ashstar's "knowledgeable" remark that he should leave. How blunt. He rolled his eyes again.
