The ThornClan camp is simply thorny. It's surrounded in thorn, the dens are made out of thorn bushes, and the leader summons the Clan by sitting atop a rock covered in thorns. ThornClan loves thorns. All the den entrances are softened by oak leaves around the edges so that no thorns are carried in on the pelts of ThornClan cats and into the nests.

Before the Clans came to live in existence, there was a Twoleg fence running through the thorny part of the forest which is now ThornClan's territory. When the Clans made their homes in the fields and forests, the ThornClan leader sent out a patrol to trample the fence. It was hard going, but eventually the ThornClan patrol knocked it down. Now if they ever want to reach the Gathering Island, they have to walk over the Abandoned Fence.

A long time ago, foxes had lived in ThornClan territory. This tree was where the foxes had lived beside. The Scarred Tree holds the foxes' claw marks.

The Thorny Clearing is specifically used for battle training apprentices. It is a clearing surrounded by thorns with a clump of thorn bushes in the middle. The thorn bushes in the middle of the clearing is used to practice the element of surprise in battle when a ThornClan cat leaps out from behind a clump of thorns and attacks his/her opponent.

The Willow Tree is the most curious landmark in ThornClan's territory. No one knows why a Willow Tree would be in a thorny territory. Though it is very obscure, ThornClan cats love to lay underneath it on a sunny afternoon, sharing prey beneath the calming leaves. The willow tree is quite far from the ThornClan camp, but many ThornClan cats think it's worth it to carry prey all the way over there. It is right smack in the middle of the ShadeClan and DappleClan borders. The Willow Tree is right next to the ring of water surrounding the Gathering Island, providing it food to keep it alive.
