The Gathering Island is a Gathering place. It is considered sacred to all Clan cats. Every full moon, cats from all the Clans come to mingle together under a truce from StarClan on the Gathering Island. Warriors and apprentices share news and the leaders call a meeting to report recent happenings in the last moon. When all the Clan cats are Gathered there, StarClan cats bound down from the skies and mingle with them, though the Clan cats cannot see them. This is a living part of StarClan territory.

The Mooncave is where medicine cats from all the Clans come to share tongues with StarClan at the half moon. StarClan share prophecies, bad news, and good news. And sometimes they just talk to them like old friends; asking how their Clan is doing, have there been any new litters, etc. The Mooncave is also used for giving new leaders their StarClan-given name. The Mooncave is a living part of StarClan territory.

The Dark Forest border is on one side of StarClan territory. There is a wall of unpassable mist all the way along the border in the place of scent markers. The Dark Forest is where blood-thirsty, dark-hearted, ambitious cats go when they die. Some live cats are taken into the Dark Forest to be trained evilly and viciously. Dark Forest cats are known for trickery followed by slavery and blood. StarClan do all they can to prevent living cats from falling for the Dark Forest cats' tricks, but they know they cannot force cats to stop doing what they want - or think they want.

The Prophecy Pool is where StarClan cats gather to read prophecies and see the future. What they see in this pool can sometimes lead to death, life, trouble, etc. Whatever the StarClan cats find out, they somehow tell the medicine cats when they come to the Mooncave to share tongues with them.
