Behind her, Ashkit`s sister and brother were trotting along quite contently, unaware of how essential it was to be quiet. Ashkit still couldn`t believe her siblings convinced her to lead this mouse brained expedition! Ashkit threw a quick glance over her shoulder, watching her two siblings chat happily. Grumbling, little Ashkit advanced farther and farther from camp. The almost silent rustling of grass alerted Ashkit. However, her siblings continued on talking. With a sigh of relief, she paused, waiting for her just arriving clanmated to catch up. Two angry warriors looked down on Ashkit and her siblings. She eagerly trotted up to them, happy to see the warriors taking control of her wayward siblings. Their parents ushered them back to camp where the leader was frowning upon all three kits, Ashkit especially.

She hesitantly nibbled a small piece off the frog before quickly spitting it out. She demanded to know why she couldn`t just have her mother`s milk. Her mother persisted and shook her head. Finally, the silver kit gave in. She ate the small frog slowly, however, showing her misery.

Ashdapple wished those cats to be banished but she stayed silent.
The silver she-cat bowed her head respectfully as she was pronounced the next deputy of SunClan.
