*Name: Foxblaze
*Age: 45 moons
*Gender: Tom
*Overall Appearance: A ginger tabby tom with white belly, muzzle and paws. He has yellow eyes. He grew up faster than his littermates, reaching an overall size that is clearly bigger than that of an average cat. That mixed with his muscular build makes him a warrior that most cats would prefer to not face in battle. His right ear has a “V” shaped scar on the side and he has a scar clearly made by claws on the eye in the same side, though his eye is perfectly fine.
*In-Depth Color: He has a ginger base color that almost turns into orange, with darker stripes that though don’t stand out that much, they do just enough to be noticed. White markings can be seen on his belly, raising to the middle of his chest muzzle and extending enough to cover half of his middle jaw. His front paws are white, with the white markings on his back paws going up on his legs a bit, but not enough to be considered as a socks marking. His right ear has a noticeable “V” shaped scar on its upper exterior (Right) side, and has four irregular scars running from his middle forehead to his cheek that go right over his right eye, which luckily wasn’t harmed, that were clearly made by the claws of another cat.
*In-depth Build: Foxblaze was the firstborn of the litter, and though he was the biggest one thanks to this fact he grew up more than his parents expected him to, when he had his warrior ceremony he was even bigger than both his parents and his mentor, but didn’t stop growing until he was around the 30 moons of age and his parents claim that he is still growing, just slower. He doesn’t knows if this is true or not, but he does know that he is the biggest cat of the clan, and wouldn’t surprise to know that he’s the biggest cat around. His build is fairly bulky and muscular, though without going over the limit, which mixed with his build makes him an individual that most cats would think twice before daring to challenge.
*Personality: A fearless fighter that is ready to always be first in line if they need to either attack or defend. He has a really strict moral code based on the Warrior Code and is known by most cats on the clans for being really strict mentor that always is trying to get his apprentices to give all they have and won’t be satisfied with anything less. He, however, isn’t a monster and always tries to be empathetic with them, understanding the apprentice’s limits and personalities to not push them more than needed, not wanting to overwork them. He, however, can be quite unforgiving with their mistakes, especially if they make the same mistake more than three times in a row, and tends to be really severe when he scolds or punishes his apprentices.
Even if he looks like a friendless scary dude, in the inside he’s a gentle giant with a really soft spot for kits, even if he never had been able to have some of his own. When he isn’t training any apprentice or doing warrior duties, he can be found in the nursery, playing with the kits inside. In case of an emergency he’s always the first one to arrive to the place to help the ones around, regardless of the clan or situation, and the very least to leave, as he would always refuse to leave knowing that there is any cat that is still in danger.
He’s an ambitious cat, always aiming for success on whatever he does and for self-improvement. He isn’t a sore loser, he takes each lose as a chance to learn and succeed in his next attempt.
His temperament, however, is really explosive. When he gets angry he becomes the warrior that everyone in the clan has come to respect and even fear a little. While angry he will rarely listen and is more than willing to solve the conflict through claws and teeth if he needs to, and be warned, in this state he rarely can control his own strength.
He tends to be a bit impatient from time to time, and though he tries to keep this at bay he can’t help but start to get clearly anxious when something takes too long or he has been waiting for a certain amount of time.
He usually is very direct and honest with what he says, to the point of being plainly blunt when speaking, what usually adds to the wrong thought of him being a lot crueler than he really is. He usually is a neutral thinker, but when he is angry or something really bothers him he can become pessimist and quick to judge in a negative way those that are related or suspects of a certain issue, and would think that way until someone proves to him that he was wrong.
He cares a lot for his clan and everyone in it, but when anyone betrays the clan, attacks it or offends it, he tends to take it personal and can hold a grudge for a really long time with other cats or clans after the incident. Clans or cats must prove that they are worth of his respect again if they want to get rid of his resentment towards them.
*+ Brave, disciplined, perfectionist, empathetic, kind, helpful.
*- Explosive temperament, impatient, unforgiving, blunt, pessimistic, resentful.
*; Ambitious, strict, severe.
*Skill Paragraph: He is a really skilled fighter with a lot of traits that help him to not only endure most hits given to him, but also to hit back and hit hard. His size and musculature isn’t just for show after all. He can react quickly regardless of the situation or the time of the day, and his sense of hearing and smelling are really good as well, what makes him a cat that is really hard to ambush successfully.
His hunting skills aren’t as good as his fighting skills, but he’s good enough to bring at least one or two pieces of fresh kill with each hunting patrol he does. He’s good at climbing and jumping, though his stealth skills aren’t exactly the best, and not because he can’t be silent, but because his impatience sometimes gets the best of him and makes him act before the right time arrives.
His size and build take a toll on his agility and speed, his clan is known for not being fast at running, and he isn’t the exception, though he probably would be slower than most of them if it wasn’t that because of his size he can cover more terrain than his clan mates with each step.
He isn’t exactly a skilled swimmer and would avoid it if possible, but if really needed he may be able to swim just enough to reach the sore and not drown, as long as the water isn’t moving too much, of course. His fishing abilities are terrible as well, he simply can’t catch fish at all, and believe me, he had tried.
In a fight he can be a powerful opponent, but escape from him isn’t exactly hard to do, and not only because of his speed, but also because his stamina at running isn’t exactly good, as his stamina is takes a heavy blow with this activity thanks to his size, causing him to get tired rather easily.
*Positive Skill List: Fighting, climbing, jumping, endurance, reaction time, hearing, smell.
*Negative Skill List: Speed, agility, correct timing, swimming in moving water, fishing, stamina.
*Average Skill List: Hunting, swimming, stealth.
*Likes: Mice, voles, playing with kits, mentoring, leading patrols, helping his clanmates.
*Dislikes: Intruders, any cat that breaks the warrior code, repetitive mistakes, anyone that hurts kits.
*Fears: Dying without ever having a mate or kits of his own, not being able to protect his clan, failing to his clan.
Goals: His major goal is to serve his clan in any way possible. He, however, has a secondary goal that he rarely mentions, its thanks to this that he’s constantly looking for the right mate, as this goal is to have a family of his own.
*Overall History:Foxblaze was the firstborn of a litter of three kits, with both his parents belonging to ThornClan. He grew up strong and healthy, and a lot faster than his parents would’ve expected. His own mentor was as strict as he is on his apprentices, if not more, and many of his duties took place in the nursery. There he always saw the happy couples with their kits, and sooner than later he started to play with his small clanmates, which soon caused him to grow that wish to have a family of his own. In a battle after his warrior ceremony he got the scars that now can be seen on the right side of his face.
*In-Depth History: Foxkit was the firstborn of a litter of three kits, being the biggest one in it. He grew up strong and healthy, but to everyone’s surprise he grew a bit faster than expected, reaching apprentice size a couple of moons before time.
When he was apprenticed he got to train with the strictest cat of the clan, who also happened to be the oldest, and would retire to the elders den after Foxpaw became a warrior, reason why he wanted him to be his best work so far. He made the big apprentice work day and night with only the absolutely necessary amounts of rest and made him not only memorize, but also live and respect the code that StarClan had given to them. He was the only one in the clan that seemed unfazed by his size, to the point where he was the only one that dared to beat some sense into him when his temperament got the best of Foxpaw even after he got bigger than his mentor.
It’s clear to say that his mentor’s work soon showed to be a huge success, as the kit grew to be a disciplined and respectable warrior, though he never could fully fix his impatience and temperament issues.
It was during a fight with a patrol of other clan, which had decided to come into their territory and steal prey from their territory instead of asking out of desperation during leaf-bare, that he got the scar on both his ear and face.
