Why do white cats have to have blue eyes?
A question that I don't blame anybody from asking. I suppose it doesn't exactly make sense. Dominant white (more properly "epistatic white" since it occurs on a different gene to the black-based or red-based colors) denoted by the gene symbol "W", is the color associated with deafness in cats. Dominant white masks all other colors and cats may have blue, orange or odd eyes. Those with blue eyes have a high chance of deafness. Those with one blue eye have a high chance of deafness on the blue-eyed side. Those with orange eyes are far less likely to be deaf. Some dominant white kittens are born with smudges of colored fur on top of the head where the color is incompletely masked, this smudge of color usually disappears by adulthood, but kittens with color smudges are more likely to have normal hearing. These cats are not albinos; genetically they can be any colour, but the white is dominant to those other colors (albinism is an absence of other colors).
In some animals, the blue-eyed white trait is sex-linked (carried on the X chromosome) and is found in males more often than in females. In cats, the gene for white is carried on an autosome (a chromosome other than the X or Y sex chromosomes) and the trait occurs equally in male and female cats. Blue-eyed white is not sex-linked in cats. Source

Why isn't my cat allowed to be two different personalities that are controversial under certain circumstances?
In your application, you must state your cat's BASE personality. Yes, we understand that although your cat is a totally rude cat they CAN be sometimes nice under certain circumstances. But when creating your cat, we require you to state their base personality. Overall, it is impossible for a cat to be totally spirited and totally lazy unless under certain circumstances. When roleplaying your cat, however, we allow you to include those "different circumstances". For example, if you say in your application that your cat is a very rude cat but can be nice sometimes, we'll tell you not to and tell you to delete "but can be nice sometimes" - however, when roleplaying under certain circumstances, you may roleplay your cat as being nice to a friend. You just cannot totally disregard their base personality, which should be written in your application. Hopefully that helps!
